Bobby Goodale

Jesse Robinson Goodale III, lovingly known as Bobby, is our chief of finance. Bobby and his family are best known for founding Riverhead Building Supply Corporation.

After earning his B.A., M.A. and Ph.D. from Columbia University in Political Science and World History, Bobby went on to become a professor at some of the country's most prestigious colleges. Bobby has taught and lectured at Columbia University, Texas A&I University, Barnard College, Iowa State University and Suffolk Community College.

Bobby is the current chairman of the East End Health Alliance Board a governing agency of Southampton, Peconic Bay and Eastern Long Island hospitals. He was the former chairman of the Peconic Bay Medical Center and the Peconic Bay Foundation Board for a total of 20 years
In 2008, hoping to encourage donations from other patrons, the Goodale family donated $1 Million supporting the hospital's expansion.

Bobby's community involvement includes serving as Chairman of United Way of Long Island's East End Campaign Cabinet. He also serves as a board member at Roberta Flack's Charter School of Music in New York, Chairman of the Riverhead Development Corporation, Vice Chairman of the Suffolk Community College Foundation, Chairman of the Eastern Long Island Health Alliance, and Chairman of the Eastern Suffolk School of Music and East End Arts Council.

Bobby has also served as a former President of the Riverhead Chamber of Commerce and as a past Chairman of the Enterprise Park at Calverton (EPCAL). He has also worked as a Chairman of the Suffolk County Planning Board.
